The concrete that resists the most extreme conditions

This type of Concrete contains cement with a high calcium aluminate rate. CAC cement (Calcium Aluminate Cement) presents a series of characteristics that provide the concrete a great capacity to resist extreme abrasion conditions, high temperatures and chemical attacks, among other.

The texture of PRORESIST is similar to that of conventional concrete although it is more sensible to curing due to its hardening speed.

Field of application

  • Refractory concrete and exposed to high temperatures.
  • Emergency quick repairs.
  • Marine works, sanitation networks, sewage, etc.
  • Pavements with high vehicle traffic: airport runways, roads, hangars, open sheds, etc.
  • Pavements exposed to chemical attacks including but not limited to petrol stations, oil companies, beer, wine, paint, paper industries.
  • Tanks and deposits of drinkable water, non-potable, waste water, corrosive liquids, etc.
  • Deposits and containers for leachate retention in the waste sector.
  • All those applications in which the product can replace coatings saving regular maintenance time, production stoppages, supply cuts, etc.

Benefits

RAPID RESISTANCE DEVELOPMENT

  • In 24h it reaches the same resistances as a 28-day concrete with portland cement.
  • Put into service 6-8 hours after the product is applied.

HIGH TEMPERATURES RESISTANCE

  • It resists temperatures of up to 1,200 °C, based on the nature of the aggregate used.

RESISTANCE TO CHEMICAL ATTACKS

  • Resistance to different chemical components especially chlorides, sulfated water, gypsiferous soils, magnesium salts and diluted acids.
  • Bacteriological and chemical corrosion resistance.
  • Suitable for Qa - Qb environments.
  • Resistant to the corrosion caused by materials with pH>3.5.

HIGH ABRASION RESISTANCE

  • High capacity against the abrasion of road surfaces and in areas with a continuous or discontinuous flow of very abrasive materials.
  • Suitable for environments...

E. RESISTANT TO THE EXPOSURE IN MARINE ENVIRONMENTS

  • Suitable for IIIa, IIIb, IIIc environments.

Application system

  • Always by specialised teams.
  • The application is similar to that of conventional concrete. It requires a special care during the first 24h of curing.
  • It can be applied using a cupola or by pouring or pumping it directly, based on the requirements of the client and the accesses to the pouring points.
  • Other supply formats based on the needs of the client: sack, big-bag and silo in bulk.
