It is manufacture with selected aggregates, cement, additives and water at a concrete plant. With the addition of small granule size aggregate, initial high resistances are obtained in slim elements or with great density of reinforcement structural steel. It is a material that allows shaping an element before it is place in its final location. Thus, the work is much faster and efficient.
Field of application
- Architectonic elements, such as building facades.
- Prefabricated dice, such as in dikes at maritime harbours or with specific shapes.
- Prefabs, on site, that cannot be transported.
- Pre-slabs prefabricated on site.
Benefits
- Capacity to meet the characteristics required by the client. For example, self-compacting, with a specific pigment or with white cement.
- A hundred percent adaptable: the precast can be filled with concrete in the preferred position, thus achieving the desired finish.
- Close cooperation with the architects or engineers that develop the prefabricated product, to get the finish and specific features of each element.
- Homogeneity, resistance and quality, thanks to the control process of raw materials, traceability and product manufacturing.
Application system
- The material is supplied as fresh concrete. It can be done by pouring it directly, pumping it, by gravity, etc.
- The client manufactures the element so that, when it is cured and set, it can be transferred to the point of use.
