PROLIMIT PLUS

Floors resistant to the most adverse conditions

PROLIMIT+ is a high performance concrete specially designed for pavements subjected to the most adverse conditions such as freeze-thaw.
It is a variant of PROLIMIT, a concrete that achieves characteristic resistance to compression and residual resistance to flexotraction, without having to use single or double reinforcement. PROLIMIT+ responds to the durability needs of pavements subjected to extreme conditions thanks to its endowment in structural fibers, in accordance with annex 7 of the CodE "Recommendations for the use of concrete with fibers" and annex 14 of the EHE-08 .

The PROLIMIT+ formula is made up of structural polymeric fibres, creating continuous and aesthetic high performance surfaces subjected to the most adverse conditions, providing a seamless result.

Field of application

All types of pavements subjected to freeze-thaw conditions, for example:

• Exterior pavements.
• Parking entrances.
• Sidewalks (from 10 cm thick).

Benefits

• EFFICIENCY: it greatly facilitates the installation because it does not explicitly require the pumping of the concrete or the prior assembly of the reinforcements.
• QUALITY: it complies with the desired resistance and with an optimal installation. The consistency it provides prevents the addition of water to the concrete on site, as well as its good workability. We guarantee the residual resistance of the concrete.
• SAFETY: The elimination of the armor makes it easier to work on safer and more stable surfaces. Likewise, it saves ergonomic positions when placing the electro-welded mesh.
• SAVINGS: faster commissioning, elimination of reinforcement and reduction in the number of cuts in the pavement and subsequent maintenance.
• VERSATILITY: multiple finishes that allow from the classic concrete pavements such as troweling or polishing through mechanical means, as well as adaptation to different needs.

Application system

• PROLIMIT+ is applied in fluid or liquid consistency and always by specialized PROMSA teams.

• The sub-base must be of good quality and well compacted to ensure a good base for the concrete.
• PROLIMIT+ requires an acceptable external curing period of 4 days, with continuous irrigation of the entire surface.
• The behavior of PROLIMIT+ is that of conventional concrete. Its main application is by direct discharge, although it can also be pumped.
