HAL-PROMSA is the Self-Compacting and Light Concrete that can be pumped.
The use of special additives in its composition allows for a proper pumping of this concrete.
All of which adds to its self-levelling ability and its insulating properties thanks to the use of light aggregate, which makes HAL-PROMSA an innovative product to be used in both, rehabilitation works and new constructions.
Field of application
- Rehabilitation of one-way joist slabs.
- Slabs with decking plate.
- Screeds
- Structures that require little weight, without losing resistance.
- Renovation of old buildings and new constructions.
- Light and insulating flat roofs.
- Structures which due to its dimension or location must be pumped.
- Structures with acoustic and thermal insulation needs.
Characteristics
- Strength and lightness. The combination of HAL-PROMSA with an electro-welded mesh turn the block into strong and light concrete.
- Product traceability. Since it is manufactured in a concrete plant, it is a homogeneous material, its characteristics are constant and controlled.
- Application. The pumpability, self-compacting and self-levelling ability make for a very efficient application: quick, clean and safe.
- Reliability. The formulation of the product, and careful application, bring safety.
Application system
- Always by specialised teams.
- If it is well prepared to be pumped, it can also be applied using a cupola or by pouring, based on the requirements of the works and the accesses to the pouring points.
- Preparation of the surface and placements of levels.
- Deaerating process, after application.
Benefits
- SELF-COMPACTING: It flows until the wished surface is filled due to its own weight. It does not require vibration.
- SELF-LEVELLING: Ability to self-level obtaining a flat surface at the desired level.
- PUMPABLE: Capacity to be pumped. Higher performance and quick application.
- LIGHT: Lower density than conventional concretes. It reduces the load of the structure.
- THERMAL AND ACOUSTIC INSULATION: Contains light aggregate that provides the insulating capacity.
