Concrete with structural fibers for seamless pavements

PROLIMIT is a high-performance concrete without limits that has structural polymeric fibers in its composition. This concrete achieves characteristic compressive and residual flexural strength according to Annex 14 of the EHE-08 without having to use single or double reinforcement and being able to reach large surfaces without joints or cuts in the pavement.

With PROLIMIT a new concept of flooring of the future is born without limits, with tablets of about 150m2 and without reinforcement.

Benefits

• EFFICIENT: It greatly facilitates the implementation since it does not explicitly require pumping of the concrete or the prior assembly of the reinforcements.
• QUALITY: PROLIMIT complies with the desired resistance and with a correct installation. The proposed consistency avoids the addition of water on site to the concrete as well as its good workability. We guarantee the residual resistance of the concrete.
• SAFE: The elimination of the armor makes it easier to work on safer and more stable surfaces. It also saves ergonomic positions and safety in placing the electrowelded mesh.
• COST SAVING: Faster commissioning, elimination of reinforcement and reduction in the number of cuts in the pavement (ex: forklift passing).
• MULTIPLE FINISHES: PROLIMIT's final finishes are the classic ones for concrete floors: floated, polished by mechanical means, etc.

Application system

• PROLIMIT is applied in fluid or liquid consistency and always by specialized PROMSA teams.
• The subbase must be of good quality and well compacted to ensure a good base for the concrete.
• PROLIMIT requires an acceptable external curing of 4 days, with continuous irrigation of the entire surface.
• The behavior of PROLIMIT is that of a conventional concrete. Its main application is by direct pouring, although it can also be pumped.
