Coinciding with the relocation of the steel aggregate plant to the same Megasa facilities (Zaragoza), numerous improvements have been made to it:
- The replacement of one of the main sieves of the plant for a greater productive performance has been one of the most important.
- The modification in the access ramp to the feeders, built with prefabricated concrete blocks. A very relevant change that will allow powering the plant with a loader instead of a backhoe and optimizing costs and truck loading.
Within a period of two months, the hopper entrance grill will be replaced by a tilting one, implying an improvement in safety aspects as well as contributing to optimizing stoppages due to cleaning.
Likewise, it is also planned to start the construction of concrete blocks, made with recycled concrete, destined to carry out different functions in the plant: storage boxes, protections for the bases of the belts, safety walls, etc. In this way, we contribute to recycling waste, providing it with great added value.
As a result of these renovations, the plant plans to increase its production from 53t/h to 84t/h, an increase of 58.4% of its capacity.
Ariblack is part of the PROMSA GREEN family, it is an aggregate of 100% recycled origin from the grinding of steel slag. In 2015, it was awarded the first prize by ANEFA (National Association of Aggregates Manufacturers) in the “Contribution to the Economy/Value Added to Society” section, thanks to its characteristic origin and its ability to be substituted by natural aggregates. It is an innovative product that contributes to the circular economy and the reduction of the consumption of natural resources.
